Sweden drops Norway 84-57 at Four Nations

Sweden overcame Norway for the second win at the Four Nations International tournament in Cyprus. Christian Maraker came up with 17 points, 11 boards and 4 assists to lead the winners. Sweden finished at 2-1 record, while Norway slipped at 1-2.
Sweden started strongly as they posted a 21:12 lead after ten minutes. Sweden boosted the margin in the second quarter. They ensured a 45:30 halftime lead. Sweden stayed in charge throughout the third term. They accounted for a 64:46 lead at the final intermission. Sweden maintained the margin throughout the final stanza claiming a well-deserved win at the end. Dino Pita (192-G-88) posted 13 points, while Johan Jeansson contributed 11 points for the winners. Anders Stien had 16 points for Norway. Stian Mjos finished with 12 points in the loss.
