Stu Douglass heads to Israel

Stu Douglass (190 cm, Michigan’12) has signed a contract to play with Altshuler Saham Galil Gilboa in the Israeli Winner League for the next two years. The American will join the team for the 2013/2014 season after recently departing Spanish LEB Gold team Planasa Navarra. He joined the Spanish outfit straight from college and in his rookie season the guard played 26 games and averaged 9.5ppg, 1.7rpg, and 1.3apg.

23-year old Stu Douglass was still playing with Michigan in the NCAA during the 2011/2012 campaign and in 34 games he secured averages of 7.5pg, 2.6rpg, and 2.3apg. The player will now begin the next chapter of his pro career in Israel.
