Steven Clauss to coach Hanau

Steven Clauss will take over the helm of Hebeisen White Wings Hanau (Germany-ProB). He is coming in as a replacement for recently fired Ty Shaw. Management was not happy with the team’s 0-5 start for the season and felt a change in the coaching staff was a step in the right direction. This will be the 57-year-old Clauss’ first head coaching job. In 2013-14 he served as an assistant coach on the bench of the Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (Germany-BBL). Prior to that, he was a coaching assistant for EnBW Ludwigsburg (Germany-1.Bundesliga).
