Stephane Lasme (203 cm, Massacheusetts’07) will remain with Panathinaikos Athens from Greece’s A1 for at least two more seasons. The Gabonese player has carved out a decent career in Europe ever since leaving the NBA. Lasme is the team’s starting center and anchors their defense and Panathinaikos would like to keep that consistent as they prepare for the 2013-14 season. They are building on their success in 2013 where they won the Greek League Championship and the Greek Cup.
Lasme averaged 9.8 ppg and 5.4 rpg in 32 games in the Greek league, while managing to hit averages of 10.0 ppg, 6,1 rpg, and 1.9 bpg 28 Euroleague games.
