Stefan Bircevic moves to Japan, Hiroshima Dragonflies

Stefan Bircevic (210 cm, C) has found his next team. The Serbian big man is headed to the Japanese B1 and joins the squad of coach Takeshi Hotta.

Bircevic is well-traveled as he played previously in Serbia, Germany, and Turkey.

He started this season with Borac but didn’t see any game time. Last season he played for Partizan in the Adriatic League and the EuroCup. In 16 EuroCup games, he averaged 5.7 ppg and 2.9 rebounds.

Stefan Bircevic, 31 years old, is an on-and-off member of the Serbian national team. He last played the European Qualifiers in 2019.
