Real Madrid continued to roll in the Spain ACB with an 87:84 win over Valencia Basket to improve their league mark to 13-0 and hang on to their three-game margin on the second club, Caja Laboral at 10-3. Both Assignia Manresa and Lagun Aro GBC came into Week 13 with 1-11 records and both knocked off their higher seeded opponents, Assignia dropped Mad-Croc Fuenlabrada 74:66 and Lagun defeated CAI Zaragoza, who was in fifth place, 79:70.

Madrid took the early lead 20:11 after the first quarter and extended the margin to 41:28 at the half. Valencia cut the lead to one after three with a 17:29 third quarter. The two clubs battled to an 81:79 score until Sergio Llull drained a three with 25.6 seconds on the clock to push Real to an 84:79 advantage. Valencia picked up a three-point play with 3 seconds left to pull within 85:84, but Madrid dropped in two singles to close out the scoring. The lost drops Valencia to 9-4 and tied for third place in the league.

FC Barcelona Regal dropped a tough home match to Blusens Monbus, 54:62, to register their second loss in a row. In Week 12 they took one on the chin at the hands of Herbalife Gran Canarias 81:69.  The guests won every quarter, with the exception of the final frame. Regal shot a dismal 14% (3 of 22) from behind the arc and only got off 36 shots inside the arc, connecting on 18 (50%).
