Skylar Spencer tabbed by Astana

BK Astana has tabbed Skylar Spencer (206 cm, F/C) to play in the VTB. Astana finished 12th in last year’s VTB standings.

Spencer played for Belfius Mons in the Belgian Euromillions League this past season. He also played ChampionsLeague and EuropeCup with them. He dominated inside as he averaged about 13 ppg and 8.5 rebounds across all three competitions.

Skylar Spencer previously played in Malaysia, Venezuela, Romania, Lithuania, and Finland. He also tried to pursue his NBA dream through the GLeague one season.

Spencer played college basketball at San Diego State, where he averaged 3.7 ppg and 5.5 rebounds his senior year.
