Simas Buterlevicius added by Ventspils

Latvian club BK Ventspils (LBL) has acquired the services of Lithuanian player Simas Buterlevicius (200 cm) for the 2015/16 season. This will be a new test for Simas as he embarks on a new chapter in his international pro hoops career. Ventspils will be his first pro team outside of his home Lithuania. In 2014/15 the 26-year-old forward played for Juventus-LKSK Utenos (Lithuania-LKL). He played 17 games for them in the Baltic league and was responsible for delivering averages of 9.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg. He also played 51 games in the domestic Lithuanian league and there he managed to post averages of 8.8 ppg and 4.7 rpg.
