Maccabi Bazan Haifa (Israel, Winner League) has announced the signing of Sherwood Brown (193 cm, Florida Gulf Coast’13) for the upcoming season. The guard comes straight from college after recently completing his final year with Florida Gulf Coast. Over 37 games of the NCAA 2012/2013 season the American recorded numbers of 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game.

“We are excited to have Sherwood Brown join Maccabi Bazan Haifa as he is a strong rebounding guard who has a lot of potential,” said Maccabi Bazan Haifa owner Jeff Rosen.

The 21-year old will join a Haifa team that emerged from last season as surprise Winner League champions.
