Shelton Colwell now with Al Wehda

Al Wehda Mecca (Saudi Arabia-Premier League) has landed veteran journeyman Shelton Colwell (202 cm, Missouri State’03) this 2014-15 season. The 34-year-old Colwell played in Japan’s BJ league in 2013-14 for the Shiga Lakestars. In 52 games, Shelton managed to produce averages of 11.7 ppg and 6.1 rpg.

In 2012-13 Shelton spent the preseason in Europe on the roster of BC Zepter Vienna (Austria-A Bundesliga). In February 2013 he headed East to sign with the Shiga Lakestars. His mid-season move allowed him to play in 26 games for the Japanese club and he averaged 15.0 ppg and 7.9 rpg.
