Shawn James joins Fajardo

Shawn James (208 cm, Northeastern’08) will continue his 2016/2017 season as part of the roster at Cariduros de Fajardo (Puerto Rico, BSN). The veteran American has recently played for Montenegrin powerhouse KK Buducnost Voli Podgorica (Montenegro-Erste Liga). Over a dozen Adriatic League game, Shawn James secured averages of 9.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Over five EuroCup games for Buducnost, the center added 9.2 points and 4.0 boards per game. 33-year old James has plenty of experience, but has never played in Puerto Rico before.

The big man is associated with a four-season stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Israel Winner League and Euroleague. James has also played in Greece and Italy.
