Shamarr Bowden pens with Nicosia

Shamarr Bowden (193 cm, East Carolina’13) has decided to play for Omonia Nicosia (Cyprus, Division 1) and will join the roster for the current season. The guard’s last hoops came at the back end of the 2013/2014 campaign playing for SLUNETA Usti nad Labem (Czech Republic, NBL). During his stint with the club the American featured in fourteen games and collected averages of 12.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Early in the season the 25-year old hit the hardwood for the Carolina Coyotes in the ABA. During his last season in the NCAA playing for North Carolina Shamarr Bowden featured in 22 games and grabbed numbers of 5.0 points and 1.7 dimes per game before a dislocated shoulder cut short his season.
