Sergo Atuashvili inks with Al Arabi

Sergo Atuashvili (223 cm) has been added by Al Arabi of the Kuwaiti Division 1 for the upcoming 2013/2014 season. Atuashvili is a giant Georgian native who stands at 223 cm and will become the tallest player in the Middle East after joining Al Arabi. Last season the center had a particularly good season playing for Sokhumi Tbilisi in the Georgian Superleague. Over twelve games Sergo Atuashvili posted double-double averages of 19.6 points and 14.6 rebounds per game.

Earlier in the season he played for Esteghlal Gheshm in the Iranian Superleague where he again posted double-double numbers of 13.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.
