Sebastian Telfair deals with Varese

Sebastian Telfair (183 cm) is coming to Europe to play for Openjobmetis Varese in the Italian top flight Serie A, penning a deal with the club for the remainder of the campaign. The point guard is coming off the 2014/2015 season spent with Xinjiang in the Chinese (CBA), where his 22 contests yielded averages of 19.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

Sebastian Telfair brings with him NBA experience having represented the Portland Trail Blazers, Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. His last stint in the NBA came with the Thunder last season, where Sebastian Telfair played sixteen games and averaged 8.2 points and 2.8 dimes per game.

For his wealth of NBA experience, Telfair has never played pro hoops in Europe.
