Sean Armand (196 cm, Iona’14) is set to begin his professional career this 2014-15 season after signing with German BBL club, Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt. The team has not won a league championship since 2004 and the infusion of some young talent might be a step in the right direction to end their decade-long drought. During the 23-year-old guard’s senior year at Iona he was able to put up averages of 17.3 ppg and 4.1 apg. He also shot an impressive 53.3% from three-point range. That season Sean was named to the All-MAAC 1st Team and the NABC Division I All-District 1st Team.
