Scott Thomas joins Antwerp Giants

Scott Thomas (200 cm, Bowling Green’12) has been added by the Port of Antwerp Giants from Belgium’s Ethias league. Thomas is part of a young crop of players who may eventually become catalysts for the team’s new direction this coming 2013-14.

Thomas played his rookie season (2012-13) as a professional with the Cuxhaven Bascats from Germany’s ProA. He played 32 games for them in the German league and averaged 19.7 ppg and 6.4 rpg.

He put up decent numbers in his senior year with Bowling Green in 2011-12. He averaged 12.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg in 30 games for his alma mater.
