Sasa Obradovic new coach of AS Monaco

Sasa Obradovic

AS Monaco (France-Pro A) has made a drastic change and signed experienced Serbian coach Sasa Obradovic to take over the head coaching duties of the team for the remainder of the season.

Obradovic left Lokomotiv Kuban (Russia-VTB) in November 2018. He will be bringing a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience to the team now that he’s at the helm. The 50-year-old coach took Loko to the EuroCup finals in 2017-18. So if there’s anyone who can take Monaco over top into a winning team, he’s one of the best candidates for the task.

Monaco is currently in the outside looking into the top-8 of the French Pro A with an 11-9 record. The race for the top-8 is quite competitive and a new coach will either be a brilliant game-changing move or a mistake as the team fails to adjust to the new system that he will be bringing to the table.
