Sammy Zeglinski (182 cm, Virginia’12) is set to continue his professional career with the Island Storm from Canada’s NBL this 2014-15 season. The 26-year-old guard played for the Redwell Gunners Oberwart (Austria-A Bundesliga) in 2013-14. He played in 39 games for the Austrian club and produced averages of 15.9 ppg and 4.7 apg.

Zeglinski played his rookie season as a pro for U.M.F. Grindavik from Iceland’s Dominos league and there he showed off some of his potential as he delivered averages of 21.5 ppg and 6.2 apg. Sammy was a big factor in helping his club win the Icelandic league championship in 2013.
