Samardo Samuels headed to Barcelona

FC Barcelona (Spain-Liga Endesa) has agreed to terms with Jamaican forward Samardo Samuels (206 cm, Louiville’10) and will be adding him to their roster this 2015/16. The 36-year-old Samuels has been a member of the Jamaican national team in 2009 and 2012-14. He spent the last two seasons on the roster of EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (Italy-Serie A). In 2014/15 he played 23 games in the Euroleague and averaged 12.9 ppg and 5.4 rpg. Samardo also logged 40 games in the Italian league where he delivered averages of 14.0 ppg and 6.4 rpg.
