Sam Muldrow returns to Niagara River Lions

Sam Muldrow (206 cm, South Carolina ’11) is heading to play for Niagara River Lions (Canada-NBL). The American power forward played with the River Lions last season. In 18 games there, he averaged 9.9 ppg, 6.8 rpg and 3.3 bpg in 26.4 mpg. His stint playing for Niagara was one of the best seasons in Muldrow’s professional career.  That season also consisted of 17 games playing for KB Peja (Kosovo-Superleague). The big man started the 2016/2017 season playing ten games for the Oettinger Rockets (Germany-Pro A) but left the team in November. This will be the sixth pro season for Muldrow in his career, including time spent in Europe, South and North America. While in school, he received the SEC Defensive player of the year in his senior season.
