Sam Dower inks with Valmiera

Sam Dower (206 cm, Gonzaga’14) has been picked up by BK Valmiera (Latvia-LBL) for the 2014-15 season. He was recently released by SO Maritime Boulogne (France-ProA). He did not live up to the expectations of the club and the organization decided to find other options. Dower averaged 4.4 ppg and 4.3 rpg during his brief seven-game run with the French club.

In his senior year at Gonzaga, Sam averaged 14.4 ppg and 7.2 rpg, through 34 games. He was named to the NABC Division I All-District 9 1st Team and to the All-WCC 1st Team in 2014.
