Sagaba Konate moves to PAOK Thessaloniki

Sagaba Konate (203 cm, F) has signed with PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece.

Konate started this season in the Spanish ACB but did not get much playing time in Zaragoza. The second-year pro averaged 2.3 ppg in 6 league games.

Sagaba Konate had an impressive college career with the University of West Virginia, where he collected 13.6 ppg and 8 rpg his junior year. As a result, he was an early entry in the 2012 draft, but that did not pay off as expected. He went undrafted and played 18 uneventful games for the Raptors 905 in the G-League.

Konate also plays international basketball as he was called up for the Mali National Team this year.
