Ryvon Covile joins Cholet

Ryvon Covile (206 cm, Detroit Mercy’07) has signed a deal that will see him returning to the French ProA with Cholet Basket. The center has a strong connection with French Basketball after having played in France during four of his six seasons in the professional game. However, last season the American departed France and headed to Japan to play for JBL team Aishin Sea Horses where he played 49 games and averaged 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and recorded the second best numbers for blocking with 1.4 blocks per game.

The last time Ryvon Covile was in France was during the 2011/2012 season when he played for JSF Nanterre over 30 ProA games. During that stint he averaged 9.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
