Ryan Toolson (193 cm, Utah Valley’09) has been signed by Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia-VTB) to a fresh two-year deal, keeping him with the team through 2016 to 2018. The 31-year-old Toolson had a productive first year with the Russian club in 2015-16. He played 15 games for them during their run in the Eurocup and was able to deliver averages of 18.5 ppg and 3.2 apg. Ryan also logged a total of 35 games in the VTB United league and there the veteran managed to produce averages of 17.5 ppg and 3.5 apg. Toolson signed on with Zenit this season after spending two seasons with Unicaja Malaga (Spain-Liga Endesa).
