Ryan Pearson joins Maccabi Ashdod

Ryan Pearson (198 cm, George Mason’12) will be playing his sophomore season as a professional for Maccabi Ashdod from Israel’s Winner league this 2013-14. The 23-year-old Pearson played his rookie season for Hoverla Ivano-Frankivsk from Ukraine’s Superleague.

In 44 games playing for Hoverla in the Superleague Ryan averaged 15.6 ppg and 6.6 rpg. He helped the team reach the finals of the Ukrainian Cup in 2013.

In his senior year at George Mason he averaged 17.1 ppg and 8.0 rpg in 32 games. Pearson was the All-CAA Player of the Year and named to the All-CAA 1st Team as well as the NABC Division I All-District 10 1st Team in 2012.
