Ryan Amoroso heading to Unieuro Forli

Ryan Amoroso (205 cm, San Diego State ’09) is on the move to Unieuro Forli (Italy-SerieA2). The forward most recently played with Ferrocarril Oeste (Argentina-Liga A) last season. There, he played in 33 games, averaging 10.9 ppg, 8.3 rpg in 26.7 mpg. This will be a move back to Italy for Amoroso as he played for Mantovana (Italy-A2 Gold) in the 2014/2015 season. The Italian-American played five years in Italy as well as two in Iceland.

Amoroso spent two years at Marquette before transferring to San Diego State for the 2006/2007 season. The Aztecs used Amoroso as a D-and-three player with averages of 48.3 percent from three with 7.5 ppg for his senior year. His team finished the year losing in the NIT final four in 2008/2009. His international career began with Aget Imola (Italy-Lega2) right after graduation.
