Ross Bekkering renews with Groningen

The GasTerra Flames Groningen (Netherlands-Eredivisie) will be bringing back Canadian big man Ross Bekkering (203 cm) for the 2014-15 season. Ross participated in six EuroChallenge games for the Dutch powerhouse and averaged 8.7 ppg and 4.8 rpg. He managed to play in a total of 46 games in the domestic Dutch Eredivisie league and there he delivered averages of 8.8 ppg and 5.9 rpg. His return will mean more consistency for a team that has been quite dominant in the league in recent years. The club from Groningen won both the Dutch Cup and the Dutch Eredivisie Championship in 2014.
