Ronald Murray signs with Azovmash

Ronald Murray (193 cm, Shaw’02) has signed in Ukraine with Azovmash Mariupol. Last season Ronald Murray played in the D-League where he won the championship with the Austin Toros while averaging 14.6 ppg and 3 aspg.

For a long time, it looked like he was going to play for the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA this season but that deal fell through and that’s how Murray now ended up in Ukraine.

Ronald Murray has basically played his whole professional career in the NBA, except for the 2010/2011 season when he shortly played in Turkey for Anadolu Efes.

Ronald Murray was the NCAA D2 player of the year in 2002 and was also a 2nd round draft pick in that same year. In 2004, he played in the All-Sophomores Team at the NBA All-Star weekend.
