Spanish Liga Endesa team Laboral Kutxa Vitoria has parted ways with Latvian big man Rolands Freimanis (210 cm) before the start of the season. The player did not meet the team’s expectations during the pre-season. Freimanis has been a member of the Latvian national team from 2009 up to the present. He played for Khimik-OPZ Yuhzny (Ukraine-Superleague) in 2013-14. Rolands played 18 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 8.9 ppg and 3.7 rpg. He also logged 35 games in the domestic Ukrainian Superleague and there he was able to post averages of 10.4 ppg and 4.2 rpg.
