Robert Vaden to Mons-Hainaut

Robert Vaden (196 cm, University of Alabama Birmingham’09) will play in Belgium for the first time after penning a deal for Belfius Mons-Hainaut (Ethias League). The swingman was in action last season in the German BBL and the Eurochallenge for Baskets Bonn. In the BBL he picked up averages of 13.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists over 24 appearances while from 14 Eurochallenge games he logged numbers of 12.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

Robert Vaden has been on the roster of NBA teams the Oklahoma City Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Charlotte Bobcats but has never managed to crack it in the league. He has instead had a healthy career in Europe where he has played in Germany, Slovakia, Italy, and now Belgium.
