Robert “the animal” Brown signed by Los Leones

Los Leones (the lions) from Argentina officially contracted Robert Brown, “the Animal” this Friday morning.

Brown will play for the team in its shot at the National Tournament this coming season. He is not new to Argentinian basketball, having played in QUIMSA (a sports association located in the city of Santiago del Estero, Argentina) and Central Enrerriano, another sports club. He left those clubs in good standing, scoring high in many games.

Rob then moved on to Israel where he completed two seasons. This past season he played in Correcaminos de Victoria in the Professional Mexican Basketball League where he averaged 15 points per game, 5,4 rpg and 2,4 apg.

The forward from the United States stands at 1,95 meters and was nominated for MVP for the Argentina All-Stars Game in 2007.

Los Leones plan to let the Animal loose in a series of friendly games next week. Everyone has very high expectations.
