Rigoberto Mendoza signs with Maccabi Haifa

Dominican Republic national team player Rigoberto Mendoza (187 cm, G) has signed with Israeli team Maccabi Haifa. He replaces Jordan Cohen, who was released. Mendoza is in game shape because he recently played in the Mexican LNBP league with Dorados de Chihuahua. During the 2014-15 season, Rigoberto Mendoza played in the Spanish LEB Silver, but other than that, he has spent his entire career in Latin America. He has played in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Mexico, and his native Dominican Republic.
