Richard Williams deals with Kirchheim

Richard Williams (177 cm, San Diego State’09) is looking to put a tough 2014/2015 season behind him after inking with Kirchheim Knights (Germany, ProA). The American penned with the Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt (BBL) at the start of last season, but injury stopped his progress and he ended up with BC Vechta (ProA). He only managed nine games with the Skyliners and produced averages of 8.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, while over twelve contests for Vechta he logged 4.6 points, 2.7 boards, and 3.3 scoring passes per appearance.

Since leaving San Diego in 2009, Richard Williams has become a staple of German Basketball and has played for Vechta for three seasons in total over two stints. He has also donned the colors of Hannover Tigers.
