Richard McConnell (183 cm, St. Mary’s’11) has agreed to terms on a deal with Rio Natura Monbus Obradorio CAB (Spain-Liga Endesa) and will join the team this 2016-17. The 27-year-old McConnell spent his 2015-16 season playing in France for Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (France-Pro A). In 34 games he managed to produce averages of 10.6 ppg and 5.6 apg.

In 2014-15 he suited up for German club Telekom Baskets Bonn (Germany-BBL). Richard played 10 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 7.7 ppg and 3.6 apg. He also logged 39 games in the German league and there he posted averages of 8.6 ppg and 3.8 apg.
