Rashaun Freeman inked by Netanya

Rashaun Freeman (206 cm, Massachusetts’07) will be joining Israel’s GreenTops Netanya (Winner League) for the 2013-14 season. The 28-year-old UMASS alum is coming off a stint playing in Bosnia and Herzegovina for HKK Siroki WWin.

He played seven games for them in the Bosnian league and averaged 10.7 ppg and 5.3 rpg. Freeman represented Siroki WWin in the Adriatic league as well, playing in 11 games and averaging 5.3 ppg and 2.0 rpg. Before joining Siroki WWin in December 2012, he played two games for JSF Nanterre from France’s ProA and averaged 4.0 ppg and 1.5 rpg.
