Preston Knowles joins Ironi Nes-Ziona

The latest entrant into the Israeli Winner League, Ironi Nes-Ziona, has added Preston Knowles (188 cm, Louisville’11) for the 2013-14 season. The 24-year-old Knowles played for KAO Dramas (Greece-A1) in the 2012-13 season.

Preston logged 23 games for KAOD in the Greek league. He averaged 12.5 ppg and 4.2 rpg. He helped his club reach the Greek Cup semifinals in 2012.

Knowles spent majority of the 2011-12 season in the NBA D-League for the Springfield Armor. He joined them after a very brief three-game stint Ukraine’s Superleague for SK Dnipro Azot Dniprodzerzhynsk, where he averaged 1.7 ppg and 2.0 rpg. In 33 games in the D-League for Springfield he averaged 6.8 ppg and 2.2 rpg.
