Philip Scrubb pens with AEK Athens

Philip Scrubb (190 cm, Carleton’15) will begin his professional career this 2015/16 season with Greek club AEK Athens (A1). Philip is a 22-year-old Canadian player who also holds a British passport. He was a former member of Canadian national team in 2011 and 2014. He is already being penciled in as AEK Athens’ starting point guard and will get a chance to make a contribution to his new team from the get-go.

In his senior year at Carleton, Scrubb played 24 games and was able to record averages of 19.1 ppg and 4.8 apg. He was named to the All-OUA 1st team in 2015.
