Petteri Koponen moves from EuroLeague to Italy SerieA

Petteri Koponen (194 cm, G) is moving on from Bayern Munich. The 32-year-old Finnish international has signed with Unahotels Reggio Emilia in Italy. Reggio Emilia is 6-8 and is in 9th place in the standings. Reggio Emilia will also start their Europe Cup campaign later this month.

Koponen averaged 6.8 ppg and 1.5 assists in 24 EuroLeague games last season for Munich. He has also played EuroLeague games for Khimki and Barcelona.

Petteri Koponen is a product of Honka basketball. In 2007 he was drafted in the first round by Portland, 30th overall.
