Pedro Martinez picks up 300th win
Pedro Martinez started coaching in the Spain ACB in at the beginning of the 1989-90 season and has seen the sidelines of numerous clubs since then. Only one other coach, Aito Garcia Reneses, has won more games in the ACB. With his current club, Herbalife Gran Canaria, winning over Lagun Aro GBC Sunday, Martinez earned his 300th win of his career. Since beginning in the ACB, Martinez has coached FIATC Mutua Joventut, Assignia Manresa, B. Salamanca, CB Granada, Ourense, Gran Canaria 2014, Caja Laboral, Asefa Estudents, CB Girona, Banca Civica and Herbalife Gran Canaria. Over the years he’s guided his teams in 611 ACB contests, compiling a 300-311 record.

Well, anyway he is in negative balance and it took him 20 years to make 300 wins. It’s not champagne time.
