Paulo Prestes signs with UniCEUB

Paulo Prestes (210 cm) has signed with UniCEUB/BRB/Brasillia (Brazil-NBB) for the remainder of the 2012-13 season. He started the year with Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014 (Spain-ACB), where he saw the court in seven games and contributed 4.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Last season he was with Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys (Lithuania-LKL) and played in four Baltic League contests, averaging 5.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game; as well as 11 LKL games, where he tallied 6.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Prestes played for the Brazilian U18 National Team in 2005-06, the U19 National Team in 2007, and the Senior National Team in 2006-07 and 2009. Prestes was drafted in the 2nd round (45th overall) of the 2010 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
