Patrick Ewing Jr leaves Valladolid

Spanish ACB team Blancos de Rueda Valladolid has agreed by mutual decision to part ways with American forward Patrick Ewing Jr (203 cm, Georgetown’08). Ewing moved to Valladolid in January and is ending his stay with the team early after just 9 games. The 28-year old started the 2012-2013 season with Telekom Baskets Bonn (Germany, BBL) where he played 12 German league games and averaged 11.5ppg, 6.1rpg, 1.8apg. During his time with Bonn the American also played in 6 Eurochallenge games and recorded numbers of 7.8ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.7apg.

Patrick Ewing Jr is of course the son of NBA legend and Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Patrick Ewing.
