Paris Horne joins A.G.O. Aegean

Paris Horne (191 cm, St. John’s’11) has been picked up by A.G.O. Aegean (Greece-A1) for the rest of the season. Horne was a four-year member of the St. John’s Red Storm basketball team, finishing his fourth year of eligibility in 2011. While at St. John’s he suited up for 133 games, averaging 9.3 points per game. His sophomore season was his most productive, leading the club in scoring with a 14.9ppg average. After his NCAA days were over, he signed on to play with BG Goettingen (Germany-BBL) for the 2011-12 season. He contributed solid numbers to the club in two leagues: 10.7ppg in six EuroChallenge games and 10.1ppg in 34 German BBL games. He played for the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA 2012 Summer league and in Sept., 2012 he was picked up by the Bobcats to join them in training camp, but was waived in early October. In his first game with A.G.O. Aegean on Dec. 1st, 2012 he tallied 16 points in 29 minutes of play as his new club fell to PAOK in overtime, 91:85.

    Amazed they still take risks to sign in Greece anywhere except Pao and Oli.
