Orlando Johnson (196 cm, UCSB’12) is making his way to Europe to begin his international basketball career, signing with Laboral Kutxa Vitoria (Spain-Liga Endesa). The 25-year-old Johnson was originally slated to play for Enel Brindisi (Italy-SerieA), but changed directions and agreed to terms with the Spanish club.
Orlando spent most of the 2013-14 season playing for the Indiana Pacers and as a reserve averaged 2.4 ppg and 1.3 rpg in 38 games. In February 2014 he was sent to the D-League to play for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and there he played three games and averaged 13.7 ppg and 6.7 rpg. He was later picked up by the Sacramento Kings that same month and he managed to produce averages of 1.3 ppg and 0.6 rpg in seven games.
