Omondi Amoke released by Rabotnicki

Omondi Amoke (200 cm, Cal State Fullerton’10) has been released by KK Fersped-Rabotnicki Skopje (FYR-Macedonia-Prva Liga) after 9 games of the Prva Liga season. Amoke was averaging 6.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game over the 9 games he played in with his best performance being an 11 point, 13 rebound effort against Feni Indistrija. He finished his collegiate basketball last season with Cal State Fullerton, contributing 10.8 points and 9.1 rebounds per game over the squad’s 29 game schedule. Amoke ended up on the Big West conference leader board his senior year in the following categories: 2nd – offensive rebounds (100), 2nd – defensive rebounds (173), 2nd – total rebounds (273), 2nd – rebounds per game (9.1), 8th – blocks (25). Prior to coming to Cal State, he played two season with California, but was suspended for a rules violation just prior to the 2010 NCAA tournament and then transferred to CSF, having to sit out one season per NCAA regulations on transfers between D1 schools.
