Omar-Sharif Cook leaves Lietuvos Rytas

Lithuanian club Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius will be without Omar-Sharif Cook (186 cm, St. John’s’01) this coming 2014-15 season. The American-Montenegrin guard played the whole 2013-14 season for Lietuvos Rytas and represented them in four leagues. In 22 games in the VTB United League Cook averaged 5.6 ppg and 7.5 apg. He played in eight Eurocup games for them and was able to average 5.8 ppg and 7.0 apg. Omar-Sharif notched 11 games with the team in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and averaged 7.0 ppg and 5.6 apg. Finally, he logged 26 games in the Lithuanian LKL for Lietuvos Rytas and there he delivered averages of 5.7 ppg and 6.2 apg.
