Omar Calhoun (198 cm, G) averaged a cool 21.8 ppg, and 6.8 rebounds in Europe Cup play last season. He did so in six-game for Joensuun Kataja Basket. He also played that season for Stal Ostrow in Poland and Atomeromu SE Paks in Hungary. After a busy year, Calhoun seems to settle in Ukraine.
Omar Calhoun had a less than impressive college career with the University of Connecticut, averaging just over 4 ppg his senior year. He jumped right into the fray of things though his first two years as a pro with Espoo United in the Finnish Korisliiga, registering over 20 ppg over the two years. After stints in Italy (Cantu) and Russia (Vladivostok), he embarked on a hectic yet successful 19/20 campaign.
Calhoun will join coach Dmitry Zabirchenko and the rest of the team that sits at 4th place in the Superleague standings.
