Ollie Bailey added by Maccabi Ashdod

Ollie Bailey (201 cm, Oklahoma City’08), a veteran of Dominican Republic basketball, will now test his mettle in Israel as he is slated to play for Maccabi Ashdod this 2013-14. In 2012 Bailey was initially with Gregorio Urbano Gilbert (Dominican Republic-SRT), then moved to Huellas del Siglo (Dominican Republic-District National D2), he later signed with Cocolos de San Pedro de Macoris (Dominican Republic-LNB). He played 19 games for Cocolos and averaged 24.1 ppg and 6.1 rpg.

In 2013 he headed to Venezuela’s LPB to play for Panteras de Miranda. In 37 games Bailey was impressive, leading the league with 19.6 ppg and also adding 5.8rpg.
