Serbian KLS team Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) Telekom Beograd has acquired Ukrainian Oleksandr Lypovvy (200 cm) for the season. Lypovvy has been a member of the Ukrainian National Team from 2011 up to the present. Red Star will be Oleksandr’s first pro team outside of the Ukraine. He began 2013-14 playing for Ukrainian Superleague team BC Donetsk. He played 14 games in the domestic league and averaged 7.3 ppg and 2.3 rpg. He also represented the team in 13 games in the VTB United League. Oleksandr posted averages of 5.2 ppg and 1.3 rpg. He had been with BC Donetsk since 2011.
