O’Karo Akamune goes pro with Horsholm

O’Karo Akamune (201 cm, Western Kentucky’14) is set to begin his professional career this 2014-15 with the Horsholm 79ers (Denmark-Ligaen). Akamune is a Nigerian-American forward who recently played four games for the Bowling Green Hornets (USA-CBA). During that brief run he averaged 5.0 ppg and 9.5 rpg.

During his senior year at Western Kentucky O’Karo was able to average 3.8 ppg and 4.8 rpg in 17 games. His team was the Sun Belt regular season runner-up and made it as far as the Sun Belt Tournament semifinals in 2014.
