Nych Smith begins career with Ibar Rozaje

Nych Smith (178 cm, Winthrop’19) will begin his professional basketball career this 2019-20 season playing for KK Ibar Rozaje (Montenegro – Erste Liga).

The 24-year-old Smith logged 28 games in his senior year at Winthrop and was able to register averages of 16.8 ppg and 3.7 apg. He was named to the All-Big South Conference 2nd Team in 2019.

In 2018 Smith helped take his team to the Big South Conference Tournament semifinals.
